Up or Down

"Up or Down" is a comedy that follows the story of a female character who finds herself in a waiting room, unable to figure out her location. The receptionist requests her to wait for her turn and sit down. After a while, she is directed to an interview space where she meets an old person who informs her that she has passed away and jokes about it. The elderly person then lists all the good deeds that she did during her lifetime. The camera then shifts, and the interviewer asks her about all the bad things she did. Using humour, they discuss all the times she treated others poorly. Ultimately, the main character acknowledges that she did both good and bad deeds and that both should be considered. The interviewer informs her that she can move on, and when she asks how she will know, he simply says, "You just know.”

The movie was a comedy that aimed to replicate the style of the office environment in a more cinematic way. The camera set-ups used in the film were operated on a motorized head. The main camera used was the Ronin 2, which was then mounted on a slider to ensure full control of the camera and minimize set-up times. Additionally, the Zeiss CP.3 lenses, which had the same weight in different focal lengths, allowed for quick switching of lenses, which helped us finish the filming process earlier than expected.
